Gopee / Drums
Percussion has been a way of life for this talented young artist from the tender age of 8. His journey in music began with the Tabla in which he has had the opportunity to even play at various Kacheri's and other musical venues. But 6 years ago, he had the fortune of being the first student of the famed Vlad Jayesh who was one of the few drummers from India to be featured in the Modern Drummer, an international magazine. His styles have included technical metal drumming and with current classes under Mathew Sir, a famed Jazz Drummer in India, he has stepped into Jazz and Funk genres of drumming as well. But for Gopee we are sure it will never end with this, for he is one of the very few percussionists who is constantly striving to improve on his technique and flair with results visible by the day.

Jansher / Guitars
This self taught Guitarist knows exactly what will power and continual hard work to pursue your passion actually mean. Starting just 3 years ago when he first laid his hands on his first six strings, this thin string performer has proved his skill time and again to an awestruck audience. He has performed in 4 bands till date, including All Noise, Warhouse Chains and Darkest Red. Infact, String Theory is his conceived idea, proving the time and effort he is willing to spend in that which he loves doing most.

Kevin / Guitars
Where do you start the description of someone as talented as Kevin? Infact, his entire life story must be told to do his journey in music justice. Starting when he was just 5 years old, he was the youngest pianist and guitarist in India when he cleared his 8th grade in music in both the instruments! He was prominently featured in Manorama and other forms of media for this stunning record. Playing mainly thin strings lead, Kevin has performed in 5 bands prior to String Theory including a Trance Band named Project Space and the popular metal band Darkest Red. His expertise and taste in all genres is the forte of String Theory.

Sarath / Male Vocal
Grown up in Mumbai, this multi-talented artist has aced in both the field of Dance as well as Music. When he is not busy winning some dance competition with his famed crew, he is continually surprising an awestruck crowd with his divergent styles of singing in Throats and Clean. He even has the ease of singing in 3 different languages including English, Hindi and Malayalam. He is associated with In Dying Days, the winners of Unwind Centre organized Underground Fest 2009. He also has performed and won at various competitions with Darkest Red as well. But with a mesmerizing voice like Sarath's all this is no surprise.

Surya / Female Vocal
Even though Surya began her career in music relatively recently, she was quickly noticed by her college band where she starred as the lead singer at various college festivals and even at the Kingfisher Kerala Rocks 2008. She has had the fortune of singing in a Joy Alukkas advertisement and an upcoming Malayalam movie. She is a versatile singer who can perform most Genres in 3 languages. While judging a rock show at the Gold Souk, Cochin she was approached by the other members of String Theory, thus completing the band who are all set to rock.

Vishnu / Male Vocal
This Idea Rockstar Winner can capture the emotions of the crowd with his powerfully manipulatable voice. Music is his world and when he is not jamming with String Theory, he is engrossed in works of programming and composing music. He has composed various theme songs including the Theme song for IndiaVibes, India's only web tv. He also moonlights as a Disc Jockey and is the co-founder of the trance band Project Space. His passion for music gives him the ability to perform in 3 languages and various Genres adding to the World Music Genre set for String Theory.

Tony / Bass
6 years is a long time to be committed to learning and performing on the bass, especially when you are self taught. But for Tony, this is no sacrifice in the process of mastering what he is passionate about. Being one of the few focused thick string players in Kerala, he has been associated with 6 bands like Opium, Arethmia and Darkest Red. He has had the experience of playing at multifarious platforms including the acclaimed Campus Rock Idol. And of course, String Theory would not have been complete without Tony to be the backbone and to strum chords that resonate with everyone's heart.
